Anita Sirgo y Constantina Pérez tenían 30 años cuando estalló la revuelta minera en Asturias a principios de los 60. A Golpe de tacón muestra los acontecimientos que provocaron la primera respuesta organizada del movimiento obrero y de un sector de la intelectualidad española a la dictadura y en los que las mujeres de los mineros asturianos tuvieron un especial protagonismo.

Anita Sirgo and Constantina Pérez were 30 when the miber’s revolt started in Asturias at the beginning of the 60s. Digging In Their Heels focuses on the events which led to the first organized response of the workers’ movement and a sector of Spanish intellectuals to the dictatorship and the crucial role played by the miners’ wives.
